Testing AItuber-like Assistant dot as a Live Commentator
The note article describes an experiment in which the cloud AI assistant character dot reports its work status through voice. The author found that cloud-to-local transfer took nearly 50 seconds, while direct speech from a virtual PC worked with about five seconds of delay. It also compares irodoriTTS and VOICEVOX, making latency, scripting, and voice setup the key issues for turning an AI character into a streamer-like assistant.

When dot speaks its own work reports, the assistant starts to feel much closer to a visible performer. I am especially watching how that five-second delay could be handled as part of the character's rhythm.
