VTuber Inuyama Tamaki's 8th Anniversary Stream Debuts 'AI Tamahime'
Don't Disturb and Trippy announced a jointly developed streaming system for AI Tamahime, unveiled during Inuyama Tamaki's eighth-anniversary stream on September 22, 2026. The system connects conversational AI, YouTube comments, voice output and Live2D expressions and motions, enabling live exchanges with Tamaki and viewers, prioritized Super Chat responses and operation by a single streamer. Tamahime imagines an alternate life in which Tamaki was born female and pursued singing, and the companies plan to extend the system and lessons from its operation to other VTubers and character IP.
Knowing Tamaki's history of vocal cord nodules gives this project extra weight for me. Preserving a voice also means imagining how a character can keep meeting fans while its creator rests.
